In our message packs you’ll find a Pay-it-Forward card to share with folks while you’re doing Acts of Kindness. The card explains our project and invites the recipient to join!
It’s time for our annual Acts of Kindness (AOK) initiative and, as we approach Joshua’s 21st birthday, our Community Kindness Project will help ensure that others can celebrate their birthdays!
We’re collecting BIRTHDAY CAKE MIXES AND MORE to support local food pantries, sober homes, and group foster homes, to help young people have happy birthdays even when their families are experiencing challenging times!
You can help in three ways:
- Click the DONATE button to help us purchase cake mixes and more with a bulk discount!
- Donate your favorite cake mix, pre-made frosting, oil, baking pan, sprinkles, birthday candles, or other shelf-stable birthday cake ingredients directly to your local food pantry (wherever you are!).
- SHARE our posts on social media to help spread the word!
JKF’s Acts Of Kindness initiative’s mission is to spread love and kindness far and wide in Joshua’s memory and inspire others to do the same. Each year from July 7 through Joshua’s birthday on August 3, Joshua Kaye Foundation asks our community to help spread love and kindness in his memory by joining us in #ActsOfKindness. We ask that you share your Acts of Kindness- big and small- on social media and use #ThisIsForJosh. JKF volunteers will be hosting pop-ups at local businesses and farmers markets all month and giving out our Kindness Message Packs.
