Acts of Kindness Campaign
Annually, July 7-August 3
Each year, JKF invites the community to join us in Acts of Kindness as we mark the time between the anniversary of losing Josh and birthday.
Community members display our JKF Acts of Kindness signs on their lawn and join us in different acts of service and kindness throughout the month.
On Joshua’s birthday, Aug 3, we distribute “Message Packs”, filled with bubbles, stickers, and sidewalk chalk so families can create messages of love and kindness in their driveway, on sidewalks, or local playgrounds and share on social media with the hashtag #ThisIsForJosh. Message packs can be found at local playgrounds in Greater Boston and on the South Shore as well as at local businesses who partner to distribute. Locations vary, but often include Jenna’s Drive-in and Park Ave Ace Hardware in Weymouth, The Toy Box in Hanover, Coffee Break Cafe locations, Richmond Hardware and Paint in Braintree, along with other local ice cream shops and playgrounds!
